goods shipment to Ireland can lengthen Customs inspections by as long as 5
days, and will guarantee the complete inspection of shipment. Irish
Customs will charge VAT and Duty on any alcohol, spirits or wine imported as
part of a household goods relocation.
PETS
Dogs and cats require Import License, proof of inoculation, and six months quarantine
NOTE - remember
to make your reservation at the quarantine kennel well in advance
of your move. There is ONLY ONE quarantine kennel to cater for all pets
arriving into Ireland and space is limited. Pets arriving at port of entry
without a reservation at the quarantine kennels will be returned to country
of origin.
